Merakey AVS is one of the largest providers of care for people with IDD in Pennsylvania. The agency is headquartered in Coraopolis, PA and operates more than 120 facilities and programs in the following counties: Allegheny, Beaver, Bucks, Butler, Dauphin, Lebanon, Mercer, Montgomery and Philadelphia.
Residents live in safe and caring environments including campus environments, community group homes, family living/life sharing and supported living arrangements. Most clients receive their day program services at our campuses or program centers. Each person is cared for with individualized services ranging from physical, occupational and communication therapies to special education and vocational training.
